Accelerated Reader Program
The library has several books that are part of the Accelerated Reading Program. Many, but not all are marked with e A/R Label. We have lists from the elementary schools reflecting the tests they have available. If you are interested in seeing if a book is in the program the following link AR Book Find, can tell you more about the book. the level, points available and types of test for the book. You can also follow this link to search our online catalog for A/R books.
2012 Summer Reading Program
Last year's Summer Reading Program was a great success. Plans are being made for even a better one this year with the theme will be: "Dream Big - Read!"
Set time aside begining in the first week of June for special programs to inspire reading in our children.

NEW IN THE CHILDREN'S DEPARTMENT: Early Bilingual Literacy Station™ features 38 titles in English and 39 titles in Spanish. It includes an enhanced multimedia, kid-friendly menu that ”knows” how to speak to the child in either language. It has a 19” flat panel or all-in-one touch screen, colorful keyboard and child-size mouse.
