E-BOOKS
There is a lot of interest across the region for electronic books or e-books, books in digital form that can be read from a dedicated e-book reader such as the Kindle, Nook, I-Pad and Sony Reader among many. Or, they can be read from a smart phone, tablet, notebook or desktop computer. We suggest you look at Project Gutenberg which has a large selection of e-books (around 30,000) for FREE download. These are not the newest books, but are copyright free and availible for the public. Check the links in the right hand column for other free e-book resources.

AUDIOBOOKS
Audio Books are becoming avery popular way of "reading a book." No longer a service for those with poor vision, audio books are popular with drivers (particularly truck drivers), walkers, and those doing chores
Not only do we have audio books for adults, but we alaso have a growing collection for young people. These are particularly "cool" with typical non-reading boys. Give them a go!
